Here in Spain (and likewise in many other parts of the World) using a Tumble Dryer is usually not a good idea, why? Because most Tumble Dryers use around 5+ Kilowatts of electricity per hour.  Many houses can not cope with this power drain and invariably the trip switch goes.

Graham´s Dryer uses only 0.75 Kilowatts of electricity per hour.  This not means MASSIVE electricity bills and the environment but also stops all the hassle of finding the fuse box and flicking the switch back up (which often use thermal switches - so you would have to wait for it to cool down).

Clothes Dryer

Even hanging wet clothes out to dry in the sun takes forever (especially in countries such as Spain - where winter months are particularly damp), and none of us would really consider putting our washing out in the rain. 

Once your clothes are dry the unit can also be used as an effective heater.
